The progressive Goulburn Valley town of Kyabram is located in the centre of a rich irrigation districk, 200km north of Melbourne, between Echuca and Shepparton and close to the Murray River. Accessed by the Murray Valley, Midland and Goulburn Valley Highways, it contains modern and complete shopping, commercial and banking facilities providing for a town population of 6,000 and district of 16,000. Kyabram became a borough in 1954 and a town in 1973.
